If I want to upload my contact list or email my contact list to Benchmarkemail.in, in what format should the database be saved?
When uploading a list, ensure that it is formatted as a text only document (with a .txt extension). The field data for each contact should be separated by commas. Contacts should be separated by carriage returns. The first line of the contact list should identify the name and order of the fields in your contact list. A sample two person contact list with three fields (first name, last name, and email address) might look like this: FirstName,LastName,Email Peter,Pan,peterpan@neverneverland.com Lana,Lane,lanalane@smallsville.com Note that there are no spaces between the data entries. If your contact list is an excel spreadsheet, save the spreadsheet as a “Tab Separated ” file. To do this, from the “save as file type” drop down menu, choose “Text (Tab delimited)(*.txt)”. The saved .txt file can now be uploaded into Benchmarkemail.in (as a Tab delimited file).
