If I cannot get recording information in the time frame allowed by Indymac Bank, what accommodations can you make for me?
If you are concerned about getting recording information back in a timely fashion, it is important to note that in most jurisdictions, a conformed copy of the recorded deed or mortgage is delivered to the originating lender within 10 to 30 days. If you record the Assignment concurrently, Indymac Bank knows that it is impossible to have the recording information on the Assignment. If at anytime you have someone at Indymac Bank requiring recording information as a pre-funding condition, please feel free to call any member of the Document Management Department and we will clarify Indymac Bank’s position. No funding should be held up for not having recording information on the copy of the Assignment to IndyMac Bank, F.S.B.
