Mitsumi IDE CD-R drives are supported under Windows 95. Please check the following configuration. Choose the one that applies to your system. CONFIGURATION 1: CD-R is connected to the Primary Port. IDE CD-R drive is daisy-chained with your IDE hard drive by sharing an IDE cable (40 pins) and connected to the Primary IDE port. 1. Hardware conflict (Assuming Disk Inspector fails to detect the CD-R drive) Advice: Please refer to your owner’s manual. Set the hard drive as the master device, CD-R drive as the slave device. 2. IDE device conflict. Windows 95 may have difficulty detecting both IDE hard drive and ATAPI IDE CD-R drive on the same IDE port. (Assuming Disk Inspector detects the CD-R drive) Advice: Connect the hard drive to the Primary port (set drive jumper to master) and using a separate IDE cable, connect the IDE CD-R drive to Secondary port (set drive jumper to slave).
