I have a car. How do I get to Selvatica from Cancun?
If you are in Cancun (Downtown or in the Cancun hotel zone) follow these instructions. Please take the highway to Playa del Carmen. That means you will go south toward Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen. If you are in doubt take the road to the airport. Then just on past the airport exit toward Playa del Carmen and Puerto Morelos. When you get to Puerto Morelos please take the right hand lane (sort of an access road.) After the PEMEX gas station, you’ll pass two speed bumps and 500 mts (1/4 mile) ahead you will find a “Selvatica” sign. Take the curve to the right at the Selvatica sign; from this point you have to drive for 19 kilometers (12 miles) and then follow the signs on the right into the Selvatica park. Parking in the park will be indicated and will be small niches for one car carved out of the jungle.
