Are the 2 computer infrared red sensors aligned? The 2 computers need to be within a 45 degree angle of each infrared’s view in order for the computers to detect each other. When they are detected, the computer will play a sound and an icon will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the taskbar. Question: I am trying to sync my PDA with the LifeBook via USB? I can’t get connected, why? Answer: Please ensure that your PDA’s cradle USB cable is properly inserted into the LifeBook’s USB port. Your LifeBook will then be able to detect that a new device is connected. Install the drivers that come with your PDA when prompted by your LifeBook and restart the LifeBook if prompted. Once you are back on the logon screen, dock your PDA onto your PDA cradle. Your LifeBook will then be able to sense your PDA and synchronisation will then be initiated. If you still encounter problem with your PDA, please consult your PDA manufacturer for support.
