Here’s how each SAISD high school would be affected under the proposals: Proposal 1 Brackenridge becomes a middle school; HS students combine with Sam Houston students to form a new 2300 student high school, at the 5A level Burbank becomes a middle school Edison grows to become a 2500 student high school, at the 5A level Fox Tech becomes a non-boundary magnet high school with 800 students Highlands grows to become a 2600 student high school, still at the 5A level Jefferson grows to become a 2500 student high school, at the 5A level Lanier grows to become a 2600 student high school, at the 5A level Sam Houston students combine with Brackenridge students to form a new high school.
