How will the proposed SuperTarget be accessed and where are the access points located?
There will be five access points to the site. One of the entrances to the new store will be located south of the intersection on Normandale Blvd. We also will keep the existing accesses by the Holiday Station along Old Shakopee Rd., however one will only allow cars to turn right in and one out of the property. Another entrance will be a full-movement intersection at Whalen and Old Shakopee Rd. Finally, another point of access is proposed by taking Nesbitt Ave south from Old Shalopee Rd and then turning east to a rear entrance at the southwest corner of the site. These multiple access points and the proposed road improvements are designed to minimize traffic disruptions.
