How will Microsoft adCenter bill me?

The day you create an account will be your monthly billing date. For example, if you create an account on October 21, your billing date will be the 21st of each month. Billing dates cannot be changed. You will need a credit card to sign up for a Microsoft adCenter account. When you sign up, we will charge a one-time, non-refundable sign-up fee of $5 to that credit card. Then, we will charge the same credit card either once a month on your billing date or each time your campaign incurs $50 in advertising costs—also known as your credit threshold (The credit limit assigned to each account. If this limit is reached before your monthly billing anniversary, your credit card is charged.) —whichever comes first. Over time, as you make timely payments, we will increase your credit threshold to $100, $500, or $1,000 of advertising costs. You pay only for the clicks your ads receive, and only for the amount you specified for each click when you bid on keywords associated with your ad.
