Faculty and administrative/professional staff do not receive sick leave payouts at retirement. If you are member of the clerical or service staff, you are eligible to receive a cash payment equal to (i) 25% of all accrued, unused paid sick leave up to and including 520 hours plus (ii) 100% of all accrued, unused paid sick leave that exceeds 520 hours. This cash payment will be added to your final paycheck.
