How were the Turkish people?

The Turkish people were so hospitable. Everywhere we went everyone was so friendly and kind. I actually injured my foot in Istanbul, being the klutz that I am I tripped on a step in our hotel and broke a bone in the top of my foot (which I didn’t know it was broken until I got back to the US). Anyway as I was hobbling around Istanbul I can’t even count how many people said “God bless You” and offered me a chair and something to drink. I felt like such a dork, but everyone was so kind.
