How was Cap Ventures developed?
Cap Ventures was developed to address some problems associated with the Digital Divide, Economic Divide, and Content Divide as it relates to access of platforms that empowers underserved people who want to improve their financial outlook. Our research led us to three conclusions: 1. We need to teach underserved people how to turn access of common assets into helpful tools 2. We need to develop a platform that facilitate the economic development of underserved people 3. Give underserved people more control over distribution and creation of economic opportunities Access to the Internet, computers, or educational information is pointless if people can’t comprehend its practical application for their benefit. By focusing on the financial incentive, underserved people apply personal relevance to these problems. Cap Ventures becomes an outlet of one’s self expression to address disparities and a means for solutions.
