How to write a lyric poem?
Lyric poems are shorter in length and are musical. A lyric good lyric poem tells a story. Break your story into pieces showing the different events that happened. Jot down ideas and details instead of starting with complete sentences, some rhymes, word-pictures and the like. Groups of random words are how a lot of poems are written. The ‘chorus’ or repeated words stand out with broader statements about what that chorus means. Most importantly, make your poem personal, something from deep within.
