How to work a hookah?
Setting Up Your Hookah 1. Place a base protector or cloth of some kind under your hookah base. This is to prevent slipping or tipping of the hookah, and also to disperse condensation if you use ice. 2. Fill the base with water or your own mix. You want to fill it to the point the downstem of the shaft is submerged by 1″ to 1 ½”. 3. Attach the rubber grommet that goes between the base and the shaft, and attach it to the shaft. 4. Insert the shaft into the base making sure the downstem is submerged properly and that the fit is snug and airtight. 5. Place the Charcoal Tray on top of the shaft. 6. Insert the Grommet goes between the shaft and the bowl, into the base of the bowl. *Note – Some Mod bowls are designed without the need for a grommet. 7. Attach the bowl to the shaft, making sure it is attached snuggly and airtight. 8. Now insert a grommet into the stem for the hose. For multi hose hookahs be sure to attach insert grommets for each hose and plugs if you are not using all the hose
