How to stop while ice skating?

One stop is called the snowplow stop. This is where you bend your knees then push both legs/skates out with extreme force into the ice. The trick to this is making sure you get both skates strong enough into the ice so you stop. Another stop(which is my personal favorite) is the hockey stop. This is where you skate forward then glide your dominate leg/skate in front of you and push outward. For both of these stops you want to make some snow. The video will explain to you how you do it.
