How to put ringtones on my samsung rant?

Either you get sprint power vision, or you follow the tutorial you are mentioning as you already know, Ventones allows you to directly create ringtones from mp3 files or youtube videos, right from their site. also ventones works very well for my rant, and free i have a rant with sprint, you need to make sure you follow the step by step tutorial that you are referring to, and make sure( this is the most important step) that you tranfer a .3g2 file, not an mp3 file! these are the steps, 1) upload your mp3 file OR 1) pick any youtube video 2) create your ringtone with their online ringtone maker 3) right after you create the ringtone, right below the send to phone button, click on where it says “sprint customers without internet, click here” 4) that will take you to another page, where you will see a link to download the new 3g2
