How to Print though a Wireless Home Network to a Printer that is Connected to a Desktop Computer?
Currently, neither a friend’s laptop nor my laptop can print to his printer through his home wireless network. I am trying to determine whether my friend’s printing problem is a compatibility problem between Windows XP and Vista, or something else. I have found several articles about how to correct problems of printing from one computer running Windows XP to another computer running Windows Vista through a network, but nothing seems to work. I do not understand why I cannot print through a home wireless network to a printer that is connected to my friend’s desktop via a cable. I want to print a document from my laptop that is running Windows XP through a wireless network to a Canon 850i printer, which is connected by a cable to a friend’s desktop that is running Windows XP.
