How to make Sweet and Sour Meatballs:

My Uncle David’s recipe is the best I’ve ever had (although sometimes I cheat and used bagged meatballs): UNCLE DAVID’S SWEET & SOUR MEATBALLS All of the credit for these yummy morsels goes to my Uncle David. It’s his recipe, but I’ve had it for years and make it often for parties. Everyone agrees these aren’t your typical party meatballs! Prepare the sauce first. Blend: 1 can Campbell’s Golden Mushroom soup ½ cup chopped, drained tomatoes 2 tablespoons white vinegar 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 teaspoons soy sauce one small can of mushroom (stems and pieces) Heat mixture but do not boil. Once blended well and heated, set on low. Mix: 1 pound ground beef ¼ cup fine dry bread crumbs (plain) ¼ cup finely chopped onions 1 large egg slightly beaten 1 small clove garlic (minced) 2 teaspoons dried parsley Mix together and roll into cocktail size meatballs. Place meatballs on large cookie sheet and bake @ 350 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes. When finished baking, remove meatballs from sheet. Drain
