How to Make a Spider Web?
If you have a roll of string, you can make a spider web. Let’s say, just for the heck of it, that you want a web that is 18 inches wide. You will need to cut 4 sections of string, each 18 inches long. Take 2 of the strings and create a plus (+) sign. Tape the edges down onto the table to keep them in place for now. Take the other 2 pieces and center them over the + sign, only this time you will be making an x. Tape these two down, also. You will now have what looks like a pizza cut into 8 equal slices. And here comes the fun part. Using the remaining string, cut off a section about 6 feet long. With one one of the cut string, tie a knot into one string about 3 inches from the center. Carry the string over one direction to the next string, leaving a little bit of slack in the string so that it kind of hangs from one string to the next. Carefully knot at the intersection. Do this all the way around the web, making sure that each time you come to the next intersection you are a little fur
