There are plenty of ways to do it. To make it easy you should try them in this order : • Under KDE, open the ‘K’ menu, choose ‘Run a program’ and type ‘ksnapshot’. Easy. • Under Gnome, search the Gnome menu for a ‘Take a snapshot’ entry • The old way, will work on any system : Open a shell (like Konsole, xterm or aterm) and type ‘import -window root my_file_name.jpg’.
