How to delete Ubuntu?

0

I’m writing this assuming that your Windows is XP home or Pro.The awnwer would be differnt otherwise. You can delete the partition that Ubuntu is on from >Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage>Disk Management But the big task is that you’ll need to fix the boot sector. One does this from the Microsoft Recovery Console with the command fixmbr I think. DO NOT REMOVE UBUNTU IF YOU DON”T HAVE THE RECOVERY CONSOLE AVAILABLE. Your machine will be unusable until you aquire Recovery Console.Original Microsoft XP disks allow you to boot into RC from the disk. Many but not all OEM disks have RC. After deleting the partition that Ubuntu was on you can create a new partition from disk management. Most people would say to make it NTFS because its a superior file system. It is the best choice unless you need an older or alternative OS to be able to access that partition.
