How should my Department decide which procurements to set aside as part of the LSBRP?
Each Using Department has complete discretion to determine how to achieve its 10% LSBRP requirement. During the development of their annual budget requests, Using Department administrators should confer with their division head and departmental staff with procurement responsibilities to determine the Department’s total anticipated procurement needs for the upcoming fiscal year and identify which procurements are the best candidates for LSBRP set-asides.
