Safeguard Enterprise PDF DRM uses US Government strength encryption – the AES algorithm at it’s strongest setting, 256 bit. It would currently take todays fastest computer approximately 149 thousand-billion (149 trillion) years to crack a 128-bit AES key. Even with future advances in technology, AES has the potential to remain secure well beyond twenty years.
