• AVS algorithms and techniques gurantee the highest repeatability possible with the scanner based image. As a baseline for this test we use the numbers from our calibration target. It is stated in our manual for the PIA-2000 Dirt Counter that the instrument be calibrated to within +/- .14mm2 of the total target . This is a repeatability of 1.25% or better. Repeatability specifications on the UFA-2000 Formation tester are +/- 1unit within machine and +/-1.5 between machines. This is the best off any system used for similar measurements.
