How often will my shrimp moult?
This depends on age and species (generally the larger the less often). All crustaceans will moult throughout their entire lives. When first hatched they may moult several times within a week. This slows to around once every other month as they grow, and continues to slow as they mature. When old they may moult as little as once or twice a year.
