How much would it cost to install keyless entry on my 2004 Honda Civic?

The one thing I don’t like about my Civic is that it has no power locks and keyless entry. Just curious as to how much this might cost, parts and installation included. A: Keyless entry on any car, any door (including non-powered door locks) is done (cheapest) via aftermarket car alarms. Most car alarms will have an option to also unlock your car door. If you don’t have PDL (power door locks), you will need to add a motor to do that. Typically it runs from $50 to $100 per door, plus the price of the alarm and installation. I’d look into Pennysaver, or local ads for specials. Or, you can just call the different car stereo places, and ask them over the phone. Cheapest for adding PDL to 2 door car + alarm is probably around $250 ~ $325. These days, I’m sure if you ask nicely, they’ll give you a better deal than what’s quoted on the phone, especially if you’re standing there saying I’d go with your shop if I get another $25 discount. Make sure you call a few before you bring your car in. G
