How much will it cost to put a vending machine(s) in a school?
It would depend on your relationship with the school. If you are the principal, it wouldn’t cost you anything. In fact, the people who place the vending machines at the high school where I work actually pay part of their profit to the school. However, if you are talking about how much it would cost an outside company/individual to furnish a school with machines, I guess it would depend on the cost per machine. The large soda machines seem to run about $1000, while the large snack machines are about $1800. So, if you put five soda machines and five snack machines, you are looking at an investment of about $15,000. Of course, I’m sure there are companies that would let you lease the machines. One more thing….This might not the best time to be thinking of putting vending machines in schools. In the state where I teach, there is a big push to remove ALL of these machines from schools.
