How much does owning a dog cost?

0

An average month: Food for 1 month – $75 (I feed only high quality) New Toy – $5 Replace chewed up bed – $25 Vet check and anual medications (just over $500 yearly so per month) – $40 Monthly nail clip at groomers – $15 Assuming there is no medical emergency that comes up – I spend nearly $2000 on each of my dogs annually. Unfortunately emergencies DO come up. I have a dog that got very sick and quickly racked up over $6,000 in vet bills. PLUS he had the yearly expenses on TOP of that. So yes, having a dog can be VERY expensive.
