Most meals will be included in the program. However, when meals are not included in the program, the cost of a meal in China can vary greatly depending on the type and quality of food. Participants are advised to bring cotton shirts, skirts, pants etc. A water proof jacket is also suggested although umbrellas are easy to purchase locally. Clothes and shoes can be bought cheaply in China; however, sizes are often small. Secondary schools offer cafeteria services, where a wide range of meals and snacks are provided at varying prices. In such cases, a traditional school meal is always available at the above price.
