How much do Extras get paid?

If you are a Non-Union Extra (not a member of the Screen Actors Guild), the current rate of pay is $54.00 for 8 hours ($6.75/hour). You are guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours even if you work less in a day, so you will always make at least that amount. Everyone earns overtime after 8 hours and most typical work days last between 10-14 hours per day. If you are a member of SAG, normal union rates apply.
