How much calibration gas / filters / leads / flex tips do I need to stock?

Consumables vary with individual facilities and various State programs. At the minimum, carry sufficient inventory for two to three months of equipment use. (Some States require that you maintain a minimum stock of certain items.) All inspection facilities should stock backup leads, flex tips, hoses, toner, etc. Having spares on-hand will greatly reduce your downtime! NOTE ON CAL GAS: All calibration gas bottles have an expiration date printed on the label. States do NOT permit calibration of the analyzer on expired cal gas. Always remember to turn OFF your gas bottle after use; even a very small leak can drain a bottle over night.
