How many stations will there be downtown?
That question will be answered as part of the study, but it is likely that there will be stations at: LeBreton: This station will connect to bus services on Booth Street that use the Chaudire Crossing to Gatineau. It will also support redevelopment of the LeBreton Flats lands and the escarpment area. Downtown West: This station would be located in the vicinity of Lyon and Kent Streets to serve development at the western end of the downtown. Downtown East: This station would be located in the vicinity of Bank and O’Connor Streets to serve the eastern end of the downtown and the Parliamentary Precinct. It will also be close to development along Elgin Street. Rideau: This station would be located east of the Rideau Canal to serve the Rideau Centre, Congress Centre and Byward Market. Campus: This station will serve the University of Ottawa, the Golden Triangle and destinations along the east end of Laurier.
