How many spelling errors are acceptable?
ZERO – NONE – Your spelling must be perfect. Studies confirm, your resume should be the single most important document you will ever write. So, it should be perfect, no spelling errors. If you are prepared to submit your resume with even “just one” mistake, the questions arises how will you perform on the job, if they are willing to submit an imperfect resume? Use a spell-checker, have someone proofread it for you, read it a couple more times, then let it set overnight and check it again.
