How many parts are there in a typical die-cast model?
In most Franklin Mint 1:24 scale models there are over 150 parts; many models have well over 200 parts. The main parts — body, interior, chassis, engine – are made up of many individual parts. For example, some of our highly detailed engines alone include many parts: the engine block, valve covers, wiring, radiator, electrical parts, hoses, carburetor, air cleaner, pulleys and pumps, etc. These details even include caution and specification labeling on the engines.
