How many Jesuits are there at BC?
There are nearly 100 Jesuits in residence at Boston College, making it one of the largest Jesuit communities in the world and the largest of any college or university. Jesuits are active in all aspects of BC life, whether teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, serving in administrative capacities, or offering Ignatian retreats, extracurricular programs, and spiritual direction to faculty, staff, and students. There are 23 Jesuits from 16 different countries pursuing graduate degree programs at Boston College or who are visiting scholars.
