How many days per week is a BCIT Nursing student in the hospital?

0

In the first two years of the program, student nurses spend two days per week at a hospital site and the remainder of the school week on the BCIT campus. In the final three terms of the program, students are in the hospital or community sites from 3 to 5 full days per week. Clinical days, which run throughout the program, are scheduled on a changing rotation with shifts varying from eight to twelve hours in length. Shifts may start as early as 6:45 a.m. or end as late as 11:00 p.m., on weekends and holidays as well as weekdays.
