First, you will have to do computer training. Depending on your intelligence level this can take from 4 hours to 8 hours or more. After you successfully complete the computer training you will be paired up with a cashier who will train you on the register, doing everything you normally would, with actual customers, for about a week. Be sure to ask plenty of questions and get everything down. Take a pad of paper to write down commonly used codes. Then you’ll be on your own. It’s quite easy and stress free.
