How long do turtles live?
I had some red ear sliders and good care is a big tank that you keep clean with a submerible filtration system (you can turn it off during feeding time) keep the water clear enough to see through at all times. It can get a little green. Keep the tank where it gets natural sunlight, and give the turtles a place to get out of the water to rest and to dry out- sun themselves. Feed them a variety of interesting food, live “feedef” fish, little wormy things, bugs and the green growy stuff from the pet store. If you see any sign of trouble, someone gets injured during feeding, remove them and keep extra clean to avoid infection. hand feed them sometimes and speak to them so they are’n nervous all the time.
