How is Yolo CHI and Healthy Kids funded?
The Children’s Health Initiative and Healthy Kids are funded through public and private contributions, with close to $850,000 raised to date from First 5 Yolo, Yolo County, private foundations and other donors. It is estimated Yolo CHI will need a minimum of $1.5 million each year to fully achieve its goal of providing insurance to the estimated 1,254 Yolo County children eligible for Healthy Kids.
