I am looking to buying a new Pontiac, and I really like the G8 GT. Currently, I have a 2006 base model Grand Prix, with all the base model extras. I love it, and it has great acceleration. How would the HP be different between a base model grand prix, and a G8 GT? And, overall how is the car. Thanks! A: Holy cow, you’re only talking about a 200 horse difference… LOL. I sold my Bonneville and got the G8 GT. I love this car. Love it, love it, love it. Much more room inside, better handling, more power, and you don’t see them on the road at all. Listen, you get 95% of the performance of a BMW for half the price, with great looks to boot.
