How is the Energy Performance Certificate calculated?
We visit your home and measure the dimensions of all the rooms, record how your home is heated, produces hot water and how it is insulated. This can take up to one hour to complete. We need access to all rooms and the attic space, the gardens and gas/electric meters. We then make our calculations and forward these (within 48 hours) to the Government body who issue the certificate to you, your estate agent or solicitor.
