How is the Council staff structured?
Councilmembers each have their own personal staff, headed by a Confidential Aide or Chief of Staff. They are located on the 6th floor of the Council Office Building. Central Council staff include analysts who are experts in specific issue areas, their support staff, and communications and Legislative Information Services staff. Most of these staff are located on the 5th floor.
