How is life at Canadian universities?
As for the life at college, there is no real difference between Canadian and American universities. As for the partying, etc., you participate only on Saturday night. If you do it at all any other time, you will fail. There is no comparison between college life and high school. Colleges don’t take attendance. They have your money and don’t give a crap if you don’t show up. They also will quite happily flunk you if your performance is the least bit below what is expected. There is NO social promotion. In fact most schools grade on a curve and flunk the botton 20% or do of every class no matter how hard they work. And all Universities have great coffee shops both on campus and nearby. The schools in Canada all have pubs too. Except for the Christian ones. If you want to go to a really cool Canadian school, the best school is Simon Fraser University in Burnaby BC.
