Initially, ABOHN was funded by donations from AAOHN, other health and safety organizations, and corporate contributions. ABOHN is now financially independent and all fees collected are used to administer the organization, cover the cost of testing, and enable the Board of Directors to meet and continue to advance occupational health nursing through certification.
