How far before conversion must the client agree to the precise date for switchover to ISO 15022 messages?
Citibank requires a minimum of three weeks lead-time to schedule a conversion. All conversion must be scheduled before September 15, 2002. No conversions will be scheduled after this date. All clients who have not been implemented by October 6, 2002 will be automatically converted as of November 18, 2002. This is the official retirement date for 7775 messages. Citibank requires a three-week lead-time to accomplish the following tasks: • Check the completeness and accuracy of Account Numbers for each legal entity that will be converted; • Conduct preparatory STP review to ensure minimum business disruption; • Schedule adequate resources to prepare our system sets for the conversion; • Schedule additional resources to manage feedback to the client and to handle any potential issues that may arise post conversion; and • Review specific country requirements prior to conversion with the client to ensure compliance.
