The Rugged C5 was designed with an extreme focus on delivering durability: • 3-foot drop test compliant to MIL-STD-810F • IP54 rated – Water, dust and splash resistant • The magnesium-alloy internal frame delivers core structural durability. • The disinfectant-resistant resin withstands frequent cleaning and disinfection with industry-standard solutions and cleaning materials. • The elastomer overmolding provides an easy-to-grip surface and added durability. • The shock-mounted HDD helps protect against operational and non-operational data loss. • The accelerometer, called Motion DataGuard, parks the HDD head during unexpected movements to help protect data.
