How does the information get into the VeriDrive (MediVault device)?
For the general health information, you enter it through the use of a wizard which guides you thought the intake questions. This is very similar to the questions found on a doctor’s intake sheet. You can update it as needed should your health information change. For the storage of reports and records- Our patent-pending process allow us to generate a specific 800 number and email that is solely yours. By law, a patient is entitled to their own health records. MediVault provides you with new fax number, email address, and the necessary HIPAA release form. When you or your doctor fax a copy of your report, it will automatically be digitized and held in a secure folder, waiting for you to connect the VeriDrive. Once you connect the drive, it seeks the folder, verifies your identity, and the check-in process is started. More advanced users may opt to drop records directly from a scanner, or CD drive into the pre-designated folder which will also start the check-in process. Automatically up
