How does the ESSS affect annexation?
• The sewer is being installed prior to development to ensure an efficient and cost effective collection system. The goal of this project is to get the sewer installed so annexation can proceed in a logical and planned fashion. • Although the trunk sewer may pass through or near a specific property, the connection to the sewer generally will not occur until the City has annexed the property.
