How does the CDC help students who are choosing or changing their major?
The Career Development Center offers a wealth of assistance and information to help students to choose or change their major. Students in the process of deciding their major can meet with a career counselor by making an appointment. The Handbook for Students Choosing and Changing Their Major and the CDC’s comprehensive Career Resource Library are two resources students find helpful when exploring their career options. Students are also encouraged to get involved in the development of their career by trying classes in areas they are interested in, finding related part-time jobs or internships, and attending events such as the Majors Fair.
