How does the application process work?
Application packets are available around mid-January each year; call the nursing office at 816.584.6257 and request that one be e-mailed to you. In it will be information about Park University, the nursing school and the A.D.N. program, financial aid, reference forms, an application, and other materials. Follow the instructions enclosed in the packet.
When you apply to an opening at CCAC, your application will be reviewed by the hiring administrator and a search committee. There is no set time frame for the hiring process, but you may check on the status of your application under ‘Manage Jobs’ of your account. Candidates are contacted by phone and/or e-mail, so please make sure that your contact information is always accurate on your application.
You may submit your application online, by email, or regular mail. If you meet the basic qualifications (native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia or New Zealand with a baccalaureate degree or higher by July 2009) you will be asked to complete Part 2, which includes a brief statement of why you want to teach English in China. Depending on your qualifications, you may then be asked to a phone interview, which usually takes 15-30 minutes.
Applicants can complete their applications online at www.henricojobs.com from any computer with Internet access. After the closing date, all applications will be screened by one of the recruitment staff. Those applicants who are to be interviewed will be contacted within three to four weeks (or longer, in some instances) after the closing date listed on the job list. You may check the status of your application after the closing date by visiting our online JOSH site.
A. Candidates must submit an employment application and a supplemental assessment (if indicated). The applicant is responsible for submitting a complete Clark County application package. If the application does not demonstrate that minimum employment requirements are met, the candidate will not move forward in the selection process. Additional information will not be accepted after the closing date.
