How does the adjustment of the CAL value in the input menu affect the oxygen saturation value measured with the CeVOX?
The CAL value indicates the slope of the linearity of the calibration and influences the oxygen saturation value measured by CeVOX as soon as the value changes. CeVOX devices are shipped with a pre-adjusted CAL value of 98. This value only needs to be changed before the use of the CeVOX, if the CAL O2 value indicated on the connector of the CeVOX Probe differs from the value of 98. Currently this is not an issue, but adjustment may become necessary in the future with different probe types or additional parameters of the CeVOX.
